Where and how did you meet your partners?

I met different people in different places. I have met people online, at my high school, at uni...I once dated a guy I met in hospital for about six months.
There are so many ways to get to know people and meet people... :)
I have met on okcupid. I have met, at poly meetups. I have met while travelling. Once on the London eye I flirted it up with someone, we are now FB buddies.

I currently found most my success on okcupid. rocky I met there, then in person a few weeks later.
Trip I met at poly meet up. Irish coffee and Ivy at poly meet up. I met Ria at a kinky party. I met K at McDonald's of all places. So many ways to meet someone!!

mr bond I have met on okcupid. :)

Interesting thread! Nice to hear everyone's stories.

I met Roger through a windy road of a friend of a friend of a friend's sister at a party when I was in middle school (yup, wrote a diary entry about it and everything ). We became friends for several months before he asked me out and we've been together almost non-stop since.

I met Jack in a similar way, friend of friend. We can pinpoint us meeting at a party in college, but he can remember the first time he ever heard about me from our mutual friend before then, thinking that he wanted to get to know me. We quickly became friends. It was several years later that I approached him about being FWBs, which developed into being partners in the last few years.

The only other potential partner I've had in my life has been my best friend, Indigo, who I've known for the last five years. We decided, for a variety of reasons, not to pursue anything at this time, despite strong interest on both sides.

I have a deceased wife whom I originally met as a missionary in Roseville (north of Detroit). For quite awhile we were just friends, but that eventually changed.

I met my current poly partner when I was a choir accompanist for a Lutheran church. She and her husband were choirmembers. Again we became friends, and that's all we were for the next ten years, but then things changed.

If you have any questions let me know ... :)
