New, excited, & confused

Greetings. I am new to the world of polyamory. I am curious and not sure how everything works. My wife suggested the idea/lifestyle in the past. But it took me a bit to open myself to it. (Kinda persuaded but not unwillingly). The goal is to learn as a couple. However, I have some "catching up" to do. Lots of questions and guarded optimism. (Sorry. I realise this is not riveting content.). I'm looking forward to this journey and hope to meet some great people along the way.
Cheers

Greetings funkyuno,
Welcome to our forum. Please feel free to lurk, browse, etc.

It's great to have you with us, I hope you will take the time to read and post on our various threads (including threads that you initiate). There is a lot to learn about polyamory, a lot a lot a lot. See what questions you have as you go along, and let us know about those questions. It's great to have you with us!

Sincerely,
Kevin T., "official greeter" :)

Notes:

There's a *lot* of good info in Golden Nuggets. Have a look!

Please read through the guidelines if you haven't already.

Note: You needn't read every reply to your posts, especially if someone posts in a disagreeable way. Given the size and scope of the site it's hard not to run into the occasional disagreeable person. Please contact the mods if you do (or if you see any spam), and you can block the person if you want.

If you have any questions about the board itself, please private-message a mod and they'll do their best to help.

Welcome aboard!

No need to apologize! This was a fine intro. Besides reading around the board here, you can look up more polyamory info in the books Opening Up and Polysecure. They are very comprehensive and helpful.
