Newbies Diving In!

Hello everyone,

We're new to the forum and thought we'd introduce ourselves. We're Scott & Meredith, a happily married couple who are diving into the polyamory lifestyle. As we've grown older, we've experienced a few other ethical non-monogamous lifestyles. We used to be a part of the swinging lifestyle and we also were part of the Hotwife/Vixen & Stag lifestyle as well.

We're now leaning more into settling into a more laid back type of relationship ourselves. After lots of research, we'd love to be more of a throuple with my wife having a husband and a boyfriend. We'd love to research this more and also pick others brains in the same situation. I love my wife dearly and I would love for her to have a boyfriend and continue enjoying the life we've created for ourselves. We have always been open and honest with each other in our relationship, sexual and marital.

It sounds like you are looking for an FMM dynamic, with your wife involved with both of you and maybe the occasional threesome. Hi, it was good to read your introduction, since your profile banner has that sexy silhouette of a woman, and "Vixen" in big letters. But it sounds like you've perhaps outgrown that lifestyle, which, as I understand it, is more sex-based, and are moving on to actual polyamory, multiple romantic love relationships.

It seems like you, Scott, are writing for both of you on a shared profile. Polyamory.com is not a couple-centric board. We treat everyone as individuals, and ask that couples each make their own profile. Or, if you really feel you must share one, please sign each post with the name of the writer, even if your spouse is reading over your shoulder as you write. Okay? :)

We have a wealth of information on polyamory here, going back to 2009. I hope you're enjoying reading around and learning the ins-and-outs of this new branch of your journey.

Hey! Pansexual punk artist here! Nice to meet you. I’m down in Utah, and am just breaking into the Poly scene myself! (26 years old)

Swinging always sounds fun, but I’m a little to shy myself 😅 so I’ve never been able to do it I don’t think but I heard it’s a real mental cleanser from a friend of mine.

I’m looking for a couple/group that doesn’t tether my life down.

Thank you for reaching out and offering your suggestions. We are a couple and approach all phases of of our life together. We don't need or want a separate profile for each of us at this time but we can sign off on who is commenting to limit confusion.

A throuple is another name for a triad, in which three people are all in a relationship with each other. It sounds like you're just looking for a partner for one of you though?

Sounds like a great relationship and I would like to meet you and your wife enjoy some conversation and see if I can be the boyfriend she's looking for
