Hello!

I (33F) am in a triad with my husband (45M) and our gf (32F). We are extremely lucky as both my husband and I developed romantic feelings for our longtime friend and, lo and behold, she actually had feelings for us in return. While my relationship with her is a bit further along (only because of schedules and opportunity), they both have a solid foundation to work with as well. I guess I'm just here to try to find resources to help us better communicate with one another and to try to learn from other people's experiences while we navigate our closed relationship.

Welcome!

As for resources on this site, you could search the term "communication" and see what comes up.

A great book for all things poly is called Opening Up. It covers pretty much any situation that could come up between any dyad in any poly network.

Greetings bptoad,
Welcome to our forum. Please feel free to lurk, browse, etc.

You might want to look into NVC -- Non-Violent Communication. The idea was developed by Marshall Rosenberg, and he wrote a number of good books on the topic. Perhaps "Nonviolent Communication: a language of life" (2015; third edition; 264 pages) would be the best one to start with.

I myself am in an MFM V -- not quite the same thing as a triad, but I would be happy to share my experiences with you, and answer any questions you may have. Let me know. It sounds like you have a really good triad going so far.

Sincerely,
Kevin T., "official greeter" :)

There's a *lot* of good info in Golden Nuggets. Have a look!
