I am in a relationship of 4 years and we've been poly for about 2. We both date separately and have our own relationships outside ours. She currently has a bf and sad to say i have no one but i do feel it tends to be a bit harder for most guys in this current dating scene. I am 29 years old from NC always learning about poly and still trying to get a lot of terms and such remembered but easier said then done. I am branching out all the time trying new things to meet new people so found this site and said why not try and meet people and learn some things along the way and chat with others. I spent my teen years in forums whether it was for gaming, chatting, or roleplay.

You're right, it is generally harder for poly married men to find dating partners, than it is for poly married women. There are various theories about why that is, and there are exceptions to the rule, but most of the time on this forum we see frustrated men who are experiencing this tendency. Anyway don't give up, patience will eventually pay off. In the meantime keep reading and posting on our various threads and boards; let us know if/when you have any questions. As you have some poly experience, people may also turn to you for help. Glad to have you aboard!

So you're a guy living in North Carolina, in a relationship with a woman for 4 years, polyamorous for 2. Your gf has another bf, but you're not seeing anyone else at the moment.
It is harder for men to meet women, because women have to be cautious dating because of men being... well, sex-driven, with a potential for violence or force. It's not your fault you have all that testosterone rushing around in your bodies. Some guys are a slave to it. Some guys overcome and can be interesting, patient, emotionally intelligent, etc.
I love a horny man, but he has to seduce me with his intelligence, humor, interest in the arts and sciences and so on.
