Me and my girlfriend have been looking through so many apps. We have found people, but they are in a totally different state. How can we find someone like actually genuinely local? Please helppppp

Go out and meet people doing things you like, locally. Build the foundation from being interesting, not from being poly. Just be upfront about the poly part when you're chatting with people.
Alternatively, look though apps like MeetUp to see if there are any poly socials near you. If there aren't, create it, do it regularly, grow an organic community of EMN folks. If you build it, they will come. It may just take some time and good advertising.

One way to look for local poly groups in your area, is to google "polyamory" with the name of your state, or nearest major city. You also can find open-minded people at fringe events such as sci-fi cons, BDSM munches, Ren faires, indie concerts, etc.

Can't you search on dating apps for people within a set radius of you anymore? Back in the day before I found my two partners, the main app I used let you set it to search for people from however many miles away from your house, 25 miles, 50, 100.
