Currently I'm separated, dating a man. It's not working out☹️.
I'm an avid erotica book reader and notice I'm drawn to reading poly amorous relationships reading. I realize that books glamorize relationships to attract readers but I'm finding myself drawn to explore this avenue and would like to understand and know more about this relationship. Can you help me please?

That's a big question. If you want full coverage of this kind of relationship style, I would recommend first reading a book such as Opening Up..

If you would like answers to specific questions here, feel free to list your questions.

You are right, novels/short fiction about "polyamorous relationships" may not reflect reality. Basically, polyamory means the practice of being able to have more than one romantic relationship at a time, with the joyful informed consent of all involved.

Greetings Newbie_2023,
Welcome to our forum. Please feel free to lurk, browse, etc.

There is a lot to learn about polyamory; I do advise you to invest some time reading and posting on the various threads/boards in this forum. The basic definition of polyamory is when someone has more than one romantic partner, and both/all of the said partners are consenting to the arrangement. But that is only the tip of the iceberg. I second the recommendation for you to read Opening Up (by Tristan Taormino), and for you to post your questions here as they arise for you.

Sincerely,
Kevin T., "official greeter" :)

There's a *lot* of good info in Golden Nuggets. Have a look!

Please read through the guidelines if you haven't already.

Note: You needn't read every reply to your posts, especially if someone posts in a disagreeable way. Given the size and scope of the site it's hard not to run into the occasional disagreeable person. Please contact the mods if you do (or if you see any spam), and you can block the person if you want.

If you have any questions about the board itself, please private-message a mod and they'll do their best to help.

Welcome aboard!
