Hello everyone,

I hope I’m doing this right!

I am a UK-based 55 year old single, interested in hiking the outdoors, health and fitness, cooking and music. I don’t have any difficulty filling my time and enjoy mixing with friends or in my own space, depending on my mood. I enjoy writing erotic fiction, mostly short stories.

I’m drawn to Poly, I think, because of my upbringing, but also because of my preference for more mature people of 60plus. I read a lot of messages here from younger people, which is great, but hope that those over a certain age are still interested in learning more about Poly, as I am.

Interestingly, while polyamory seems to be a trend with the young tiktokers, actually more mature people are better at it. Polyamory is a more advanced way of romantically relating, just because there are more moving parts. It takes more self-awareness, better communication skills, and a certain degree of confidence and pioneering spirit to go down this route, which is certainly not conventional in our culture.
