12:30 p.m., Thursday the 3rd

Snowbunny made us veggie burgers for dinner last night, also mac/cheese and tomatoes from our garden. After dinner, Brother-Husband and I watched the first episode of the new Umbrella Academy season, I think this is their fourth season.
 
1:23 p.m., Friday the 4th

SB made us pasta, spicy meatballs, and some kind of cream sauce. It was pretty good. After dinner, BH and I watched another Umbrella Academy episode. Tonight, the plan is to have TV dinners (meh), and for SB and I to do some grocery shopping. SB has to do some extra with her work tonight.
 
12:56 p.m., Saturday the 5th

In a few hours, the three of us will be going to Santa Fe, to meet up with a Canadian guy I met here on the forum, along with his wife and his metamour. They are driving to a Renaissance festival in Texas, and Santa Fe is kind of on the way. The six of us will meet at a fancy restaurant, I can't remember what it's called but SB says the food is spectacular.
 
11:05 a.m., Sunday the 6th

Well the restaurant was good (I think it's called "The Ranch House"), I mean not "OMG this is so good," but worth the while. Meanwhile it was nice to meet this guy (and his V) in person. He's pretty outgoing, as is his wife. His metamour is a bit more shy, but that could be because that guy (a native of the Netherlands) was having some troubles adjusting to the high altitude.
 
12:45 p.m., Monday the 7th

Our friend Sam came over yesterday for dinner and a visit, he was really fun as usual, SB made us salmon, mashed potatoes, three-bean salad, and mixed veggies. After Sam went home, the three of us watched two more Breaking Bad episodes.
 
2:48 p.m., Tuesday the 8th

Breaking Bad is one of my favorite shows. Along with El Camino and Better Call Saul.
 
1:05 p.m., Thursday the 10th

Rainee had a routine vet appointment yesterday, we got a new vet, someone much less expensive and easier to work with. Rainee's health seems to be quite good, there's a few minor things but she is 13 years old, she's not going to be perfect. She has a slight heart murmur, she has a bald spot on her tummy, she's a bit overweight. We're going to try a new kind of food with her, and see if that helps. She's like, the world's best-behaved cat, she was scared but she was totally cooperative for the vet.
 
1:47 p.m., Friday the 11th

BH, SB, and Sam will go on a road trip tomorrow. I am welcome to join them, but I'll have to get up early if I want to do that. I'm thinking I'll bite the bullet and get up early.
 
2:33 p.m., Sunday the 13th

I bit the bullet and got up early (6:30 a.m.), we had a fun road trip. And a big lunch (at a really good place in Willard), so we didn't have a big dinner. After dinner, the three of us watched a couple of Breaking Bad episodes.
 
4:45 p.m., Monday the 14th

SB made us something of an Indian dinner. Some kind of curry chicken, palak paneer, rice, and naan. SB is on a certain diet right now where she is limited to just meat and veggies, so she didn't have the rice, nor the naan, nor the paneer (just the palak). We did watch a couple more Breaking Bad episodes after dinner.
 
5:09 p.m., Tuesday the 15th

For dinner last night SB made us salmon patties and corn ... both of which are proscribed by her diet so she had something else, I must confess I don't remember what. We also had veggies and hummus. After dinner we took the dogs for a walk.
 
2:36 p.m., Wednesday the 16th

SB made us chicken, broccoli, and noodles with a basil alfredo sauce. That's the highlight, there's not much else to tell you about yesterday or today. We did hear a big boom about an hour ago, no idea what it was but apparently other people in our area also heard it. It was loud enough to shake the house a bit.
 
4:27 p.m., Friday the 18th

The plan for tonight is to meet Eponine and John at a special science-drinky-drink-Halloweeny event for adults, I don't know exactly what it'll be like but it sounds like fun. Dinner is up in the air, it depends on what (if anything) is available to eat at the event.
 
5:06 p.m., Saturday the 19th

Well it was cool to meet up with Eponine and John and spend some time with them. As to the event itself -- well it wasn't terrible, but I do think the hype exceeded the reality. It was overpriced. Still I guess they have an occasional laser/fractal show and we might go to that. Today SB and I went shopping, something I always like.
 
2:03 p.m., Sunday the 20th

Sam's coming over today, perhaps at 4:30 p.m., for dinner and a visit. Should be fun, something to look forward to. Not much else to tell you today, it's a pretty uneventful day. BH is watching a football game (I'm not a sports type of a guy), SB has possibly been snoozing.
 
5:36 p.m., Monday the 21st

Today has been super stressful for me, I'm not sure why. I've felt irritated/annoyed at just about every little thing. I do have a dentist appointment tomorrow, and I don't know if that is contributing to the stress. On Wednesday through Friday, SB will be on a work trip to Chicago. That shouldn't be bothering me, but who knows, maybe it is. That's all I have to tell you for the moment.
 
5:49 p.m., Tuesday the 22nd

I'm happy to say that my teeth received a clean bill of health. (And a literal cleaning to boot.) All in all, today has been a considerable improvement over yesterday. I'm not feeling nearly as stressed.
 
12:48 p.m., Wednesday the 23rd

Not a lot to tell you today. I did walk to the local Kelly's, and got myself some Rumple Minze. I'm having half a cup even as we speak. It's mighty fine.
 
2:30 p.m., Thursday the 24th

SB is in Chicago right now, BH and I might have Sam over for dinner tonight, we might have Little Caesar's for dinner tonight. SB might get home early tomorrow, I don't know. I can't think of much to tell you today.
 
3:50 p.m., Friday the 25th

Things went mostly as I outlined in my previous entry, except that instead of Little Caesars we had Chinese. Today, SB is back from Chicago. Dinner won't be very exciting, I'll have three microwave burritos. With SB being on a diet I can't blame her. I think BH might be having pasta, SB can't have carbs so I don't know what she'll have.
