Kevin's Hetero MFM Poly-Fi V

4:15 p.m., Monday the 19th

We had some sort of casserole for dinner, it was pretty good, I guess it's one of Tim Walz's recipies. Snowbunny said we'd have sloppy joes for dinner tonight, I can't remember if we're having any sides.

The time is approaching for me to fly out and visit my relatives in Utah for a few days. After that, Brother-Husband and Snowbunny will fly out to Germany to visit one of Snowbunny's two sisters. This sister is assigned to work in Germany for a few years.

3:05 p.m., Wednesday the 21st

On Monday, we just had the sloppy joes. They were really good. After dinner, the three of us went out and did a few errands. For me that was a treat.

Yesterday, we had chicken (sweetened with pineapple) from the slow cooker, and as sides, green beans, and bow-tie pasta with butter and garlic. Tonight it looks like we're having canned soup, which is fine, it looks like I'll have a broccoli-and-cheese soup I picked out a few weeks ago.

7:16 p.m., Thursday the 22nd

The soup was okay, but it was nothing to write home about. Luckily we had some leftover stuff for more sloppy joes; that was really good. After dinner the three of us watched another Breaking Bad episode. Today, from about 4:20 p.m. until about 6:20 p.m., SB and I went shopping. Among other things I got a bottle of (Taylor) port. Looking forward to digging into that.

5:51 p.m., Friday the 23rd

We had chicken nuggets for dinner last night, with as sides, a bean/onion/garlic dish, and a guacamole salad. For tonight it looks like there's maybe a roast in the slow cooker. I think BH and SB might be going on a road trip tomorrow, with our friend Sam.

11:20 a.m., Saturday the 24th

I think it was a pork roast (last night), with a sweet cranberry topping. We also had corn, cucumber (from our neighbor), and tomatoes (from our own garden). After dinner we (the three of us) watched another Breaking Bad episode. Today, BH and SB are on a road trip with our friend Sam. I'm not sure when they'll get back, also I'm not sure if Sam will join us for dinner.

2:31 p.m., Sunday the 25th

Well I guess they had a big lunch while they were on the road, so they didn't have dinner after they got back, they just brought me some dinner from Los Cuates. Sam went straight home. After I ate, the three of us (BH, SB, and I) watched two episodes of Breaking Bad.

4:17 p.m., Monday the 26th

Yesterday evening, SB had a few items to look for at Lowe's, and I got to come with. After she got her items, she and I went to Jersey Mike's and got subs for the three of us for dinner. I don't think we'll get takeout today, but I'm glad we did yesterday.

5:18 p.m., Tuesday the 27th

We had leftover pork roast last night, also we had steak fries (SB makes really good steak fries), corn, carrots, hummus. I don't know what we'll have tonight -- some kind of fish. My trip to Utah is getting very close, I leave on Friday (very early in the morning), I am already starting to make plans and preparations. I'm sure it'll be a nice trip, but I'll still be glad to be back home (about a week from today).

3:55 p.m., Wednesday the 28th

We had flounder for dinner last night. Also leftover steak fries, some mixed veggies, and guacamole salad. Tomorrow I start packing. On Friday, I picture myself getting up at somewhere around 2:00 a.m. ... I'll still need to finish packing, and my flight takes off I think at 5:21 a.m. ... That's just one of the things I hate about traveling, but, I do need to visit my relatives now and then.

1:49 p.m., Thursday the 29th

We just had salad for dinner yesterday -- but it was a big salad, with crab and smoked salmon in it. Today, SB is taking me to get a haircut, and who knows, maybe we'll get takeout on the way back. Well I can always hope. I've done as much packing as I could today, now I have to anticipate getting up in the wee hours to finish packing and do a few last-minute chores. Did I mention I hate traveling?

12:24 p.m., Saturday the 31st

So here I am in Utah, the trip has been going pretty well so far, but I'll still be glad to get back to my Rainee friend. I have a late flight back on Tuesday. We did have takeout on Thursday, from Yasmine's (a Greek place), I had a gyro and a Greek salad. It was good.

2:38 p.m., Sunday the 1st

Things are still going pretty well here in Utah. My older brother (Let's call him Dave) just had me watch Napoleon Dynamite (first time I've seen it). It was enjoyable, I can see how it would get increasingly funny with repeated viewings.

12:24 p.m., Tuesday the 3rd

So I fly home today, I will be getting home quite late, probably after midnight, my plane is scheduled to land at about 11:30 p.m.

It's been a mostly enjoyable trip, I did a lot of shooting the shit up in the mountains with my blood relatives. I wouldn't mind doing this once a year every year; basically the only limitation on that is it has to be at a time when Dave is also here in Utah. He works (he's an engineer) in northern Alaska, he's at the work site for three weeks, and then he's back here in Utah for three weeks, rinse and repeat.

3:03 p.m., Wednesday the 4th

I am back in Albuquerque now, at the end of a pretty smooth Utah trip. The flight back wasn't so bad, I had my Ultimate Hitchhiker's Guide to help me while away the time. I wasn't as tired as I thought I'd be, I got all my stuff unpacked and put away, and brushed my teeth, and got to bed at about 1:30 a.m., I did have a dentist appointment (a cleaning) at noon today, but that got pushed forward to October (the 22nd I think) because they were short-staffed.

Rainee was happy to see me, she and I went promptly back into our previous routines, she slept on my legs and I had a good night's sleep. The dogs were happy to see me too, Eddie (with SB) met me at the airport where he volunteers as a therapy dog for stressed-out travelers. Ginger was super excited when I got home, she was running around and jumping on me, you could just tell she was really happy. Rainee has been purring a lot since I got home.

2:43 p.m., Thursday the 5th

We had hot dogs for dinner last night. Hot dogs, and green beans, and a cucumber/tomato/vinegar type thing. I brushed my teeth right after dinner, and then had an hour-long chat with my AI friend. Not much else to tell you at this time.

2:13 p.m., Friday the 6th

We had swordfish for dinner last night, plus rice and broccoli. Tonight I guess we are having chicken. I also have a 7:00 p.m. appointment to get a Covid booster shot. This is all I have to tell you at this time.

1:29 p.m., Saturday the 7th

So the chicken-for-dinner idea was pushed forward to today. Yesterday we had takeout from a Middle Eastern place. I had a gyro and a Greek salad, we each had a small piece of baklava for dessert. I'm doing okay so far after my (Covid and flu) shots, I just have some soreness in my right arm where one of the shots (Covid I assume) was given. About a week and a half remains before BH and SB depart for their week-long visit in Germany (where one of SB's two sisters is working right now).

1:46 p.m., Sunday the 8th

We had rice and mixed veggies with the chicken, not bad all told. BH made me an Amaretto and Coke, it was really good. After dinner we watched the first two episodes of Breaking Bad Season Two.

SB cut her hand on a can while feeding the dogs. It was a pretty bad cut, I assume it will take quite a bit of time to heal.

2:24 p.m., Monday the 9th

Our friend Sam came over yesterday, for a visit and to join us for dinner. SB made us her famous casserole (tuna, rice, green beans, French fried onions, and possibly other things), also we had more Amaretto and Coke. All in all a very enjoyable evening.

3:19 p.m., Tuesday the 10th

SB made another kind of casserole for dinner last night, this was another of Tim Walz's recipes. Tater tots, beer brats, onions, lots of cheese, possibly other stuff. It was good, SB is saving that recipe. I guess we're having leftovery things tonight. After dinner SB and I took the dogs for a walk, BH didn't go as he was feeling a bit sick.
