We basically had the same thing for dinner yesterday as we did the day before -- which is fine -- plus a couple of added things, mac and cheese, and edamame. Not much to tell you today, BH is still having some rough days at work, due to it being month's end.

2:29 p.m., Thursday the 1st
For dinner last night SB made us a curry turkey dish. She's made it before, it's pretty good. BH is still having a rough go of it at work, I don't know whether today is any better. That's really all I can think of to tell you at this time.

3:14 p.m., Friday the 2nd
BH got home somewhat late yesterday and it sounds like things are still rough at his work. We had tacos for dinner, that was good. SB said that she, BH, and our friend Sam would be driving around together tomorrow, and that Sam would be joining us tomorrow for dinner. And that we would be having a pork roast. That's all I have to tell you for the moment.

We had hot sandwiches from Jersey Mike's for dinner last night, that was really good, SB took me with her for that and for another errand (getting a map laminated). After dinner, BH and I watched a couple of episodes of Your Honor. Today, BH, SB, and Sam went to Las Vegas (New Mexico), they should be on their way back. SB says we'll have some drinky-drink tonight, I am really looking forward to it.

They got back at a little after 4:00 p.m., the three of us had a nice visit, beer and wine, and dinner. Sam went home right after that, he turns in early, and gets up crazy early. After that, BH and I watched Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes on TV (Hulu).
I woke up this morning feeling pretty stressed-out, I had to get up right away because of the stress. It's slowly receding, but that's taking some time. Luckily Rainee is sleeping on my bed. That helps.

We ate out yesterday, which made me very happy. We had a coupon for an Italian place -- Buca di Beppo -- but the wait there was going to be an hour long, so instead we decided to eat at a Japanese place not too far from there. BH had some kind of chicken dish, sweet and sour maybe. SB and I had sushi.

If I must have a TV dinner, my first preference would be Amy's Mattar Paneer. And that's what I had last night (SB had that too). SB's work schedule has changed to be somewhat later in the day, so I am doing better about catching up on things. But it complicates dinner. I don't know what we'll have tonight.

We had pizza last night, BH picked it up on the way home from his work, so dinner was a little earlier. SB ate hers at her workstation while she finished up her shift. SB said that tonight we'd have a beet salad with chicken. She and I might go shopping after dinner, either today or tomorrow, we'll see. That's all I have to tell you for today.

Okay, the quiche must have been for lunch today or something (I generally don't do lunch), dinner last night was salad. My salad had eggs and cheese in it, so I was pretty happy about that.
Today, BH and SB had some kind of a medical appointment, plus I assume they'll do some errands. I finished off the port maybe an hour ago. That's all I have to tell you for now.

The wait was much longer than their estimate, while people who arrived after us were being seated before us. And then after we were seated, people who were seated after us were getting their food before us. Also SB wasn't thrilled with the quality of her steak, and we got no drink refills (not even water). We won't be going back there anytime soon.

For dinner last night we had salmon and two sides: a rice dish, and broccoli. I don't know what we'll have tonight, but I'm thinking it'll be dinnertime soon. Last night, I think BH helped with the food prep. SB got it started; he carried it through to completion. Tonight we might walk the dogs. Maybe.

For dinner last night we had orange roughy, plus a few sides. More of the rice dish, steamed veggies, and some kind of mac/cheese. The mac/cheese had some kind of a smoky flavor. I didn't like it.
After dinner we took the dogs for a walk. Their social life got a workout, as a few people warmed up to them and gave them pets/scratches. I don't know whether we'll take them on a walk tonight. The high today is supposed to be 91° (Fahrenheit) so it might cool off enough.

It didn't cool off enough yesterday to take the dogs out for a walk. SB thought it was quite hot. For the next week, the highs are supposed to be 98° or 99° every day, so I won't bother asking whether we'll take the dogs out. Yesterday we had microwave burritos for dinner -- not very exciting, but we also had a kind of guacamole salad and that was really good. Tonight, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., SB has a massage (I think) appointment. I don't know how that will affect plans for dinner. She gets off work at 6:00 p.m. and I suppose she'll leave immediately. If I get really lucky, she'll get us all takeout on the way back.

No takeout yesterday, I guess SB had her dinner during her lunch break, and BH and I had dinner just as she was leaving. Spinach salad, shrimp, and rolls. It wasn't bad. I can't remember what we're having tonight. There's something in the slow cooker. Tomorrow we are eating out with Eponine and John, at a barbecue place.
No takeout yesterday, I guess SB had her dinner during her lunch break, and BH and I had dinner just as she was leaving. Spinach salad, shrimp, and rolls. It wasn't bad. I can't remember what we're having tonight. There's something in the slow cooker. Tomorrow we are eating out with Eponine and John, at a barbecue place.

I guess after dinner tonight, the five of us will play a round of miniature golf. Fun enough, although I will probably place last. Last night, we had some kind of a pasta/meatball dish (with turkey meatballs), plus rolls and maybe something I don't remember. After dinner, the three of us watched S1E3 of Breaking Bad. Hopefully we'll eventually watch all of Breaking Bad, then El Camino, then all of Better Call Saul.

I think the place we ate at yesterday was called County Line Barbecue, it was pretty good. We sure did get enough to eat there. After dinner we played a round of putt-putt at Hinkle Fun Center. It was pretty fun, I did better at it than I thought I would.
Today I think SB has been working on our outdoor water system. I think BH has been working on one of his paintings. I don't know what we'll do for dinner tonight. We probably won't watch anything.
