Kevin's Hetero MFM Poly-Fi V

2:25 p.m., Tuesday the 15th

Rainee was really good about having her nails done, I know that is scary for her. For dinner we had hot dogs, sweet potatoes, and asparagus. Plus Snowbunny had cut up some melon (cantaloupe and honeydew) for dessert. I had that, Brother-Husband I think had a frozen yogurt bar. Right now there are a couple of jars of basil alfredo sauce on the counter, so I suppose we'll have some kind of alfredo pasta dish tonight. That's all I have to tell you for now.

12:51 p.m., Wednesday the 16th

We had chicken, spaghetti, and shredded zucchini with the alfredo sauce. It was good. Ginger has an obedience class tonight, so I think the plan is for us to have TV dinners. Meh. As for me, I had a nightmare while I was asleep, and I am having a hard time recovering for it, so my stress levels are elevated compared to the norm. The nightmare doesn't make any logical sense, in it I was trying to write my youngest brother a letter that included samples of alcoholic beverages that he would set on fire. I was completely failing at making that work (gee I wonder why). Anyway when I woke up I was so angry and upset that I couldn't stand to go back to bed. I figured I'd stay up and see if I could succeed at a few things for a change.

1:26 p.m., Thursday the 17th

According to a note I noticed on the counter, we are having fish tonight, plus sweet potatoes. I'm not usually big on sweet potatoes, but the fish might be something to look forward to. I'm doing okay today -- well, better than yesterday. We'll see what I have time for today, I might do some Chess training.

1:51 p.m., Friday the 18th

We had fish -- cod I think -- plus cauliflower and sweet potatoes. Tonight I think we're having Caesar salad. Tomorrow we have a road trip with Sam, we might go to some thrift stores. I'll have to get up early (if I want to go, and I do) and I may or may not get around to my usual forum stuff (such as this blog). I suppose Sam will join us for dinner tomorrow, but I don't know.

12:46 p.m., Sunday the 20th

Sam didn't join us for dinner yesterday, but we had a fun trip around town with him, to various thrift stores and whatnot. We had lunch at Clowndog, where they specialize in hot dogs and you can customize your dog. The dogs were good. I also ordered tater tots but to be honest, they should stick to dogs which is what they are good at. The tots were hard and crunchy all the way through, I had one and was done. Next time I'll just get two hot dogs.

Sam has plans with family today for Easter, so he won't be with us for dinner tonight, but SB said we'd only have spaghetti anyway. Last night we just had leftovers, plus salad and some veggies and hummus. After dinner we watched a documentary on the background and first two albums of Led Zeppelin. It was good, although I would have liked it to continue to their fourth album and "Stairway to Heaven."

12:03 p.m., Monday the 21st

We didn't watch anything last night, as there was a hockey game on, and BH is a hockey nut. Things have been pretty uneventful between my last entry and today. I'm more stressed/anxious than usual and I'm not sure why. SB and I are planning to go grocery shopping tomorrow and that's something I always look forward to.

4:16 p.m., Tuesday the 22nd

We don't usually shop at Walmart but we decided to do so today, just for a change of scenery. We got a lot of stuff, the total cost was over $500.00, SB says we'll try to make that last for two weeks. SB took today off, which is why we could go shopping earlier in the day.

1:05 p.m., Wednesday the 23rd

For dinner last night, SB prepared chicken for us, with some kind of barbecue sauce. Also squash and quinoa. I don't care for quinoa, but the rest was good. Tonight I guess we are having hot dogs, also it's sounding hopeful that SB and I will share a bottle of wine. Ginger has what I think is her last obedience class tonight. I'm not sure whether dinner will be before or after that.

3:52 p.m., Thursday the 24th

I just got home from a dentist appointment (routine cleaning and checkup) a little over half an hour ago. No cavities, and no damage from grinding (I wear a nightguard). Tomorrow I might go to the airport with SB and Eddie (where Eddie is a service dog, people can pet him and feel less anxious). If I do, I may not have any time to do any computer stuff. We'll have to see.

6:34 p.m., Friday the 25th

It's been a pretty good day, I went to the airport with SB and Eddie and had hot chocolate and met some nice people. SB said dinner might be TV dinners, not my favorite but one can't have everything. Last night dinner was veggie burgers, plus tomatoes and a Mediterranean salad.

1:49 p.m., Saturday the 26th

Turns out SB heated up a few microwave burritos for me. She had some leftovers, I don't know what BH had. Tonight I guess we are having some kind of salad, tomorrow salmon and Sam will come over for dinner and a visit. Something to look forward to.

12:08 p.m., Sunday the 27th

We have guys coming over tomorrow (8:00 a.m. thru c. 12:00 p.m.) to replace the shower fixtures. I'll have to get up early and the water will be turned off, but it has to be done. Especially my shower, which doesn't shut off all the way and always leaks. SB has been getting my room ready for the work. Fun times.

9:22 a.m., Monday the 28th

I'm a little pissed off, the plumbing guys were supposed to be here over an hour ago, and I got up at 7:00 a.m. for this. Not feeling great in general. The pets have been crated for over an hour so far, it is particularly hard on Rainee, she (usually a quiet cat) is crying, and trying to claw her way out. This is very stressful. I just want this to be done. They just called, and now they're saying 10:00 a.m. ... why in the hell couldn't they have said that in the first place?

3:53 p.m., Tuesday the 29th

Turns out it was mostly just one guy -- and thank gods, he finally (at 10:24 a.m.) showed up. It seems the folks he works for just aren't very good at time estimates, I think it's incompetence, not negligence. Their original estimate was that the whole job would take four hours; in reality it took about seven hours. I'm just glad it didn't take multiple days. So far the end product looks good and is working well. I'm just crossing my fingers that it will stay that way.

1:21 p.m., Wednesday the 30th

Not much to tell you today, SB does have a doctor appointment and will probably leave for that at about 3:30 p.m. (the appointment is at 4:00 p.m.). On Saturday, BH will fly out to Michigan, to spend his birthday with his twin brother. SB said she and I would eat out on Sunday and I'm really looking forward to that.

3:14 p.m., Thursday the 1st

For dinner last night, SB made us pasta and meatballs (with sauce and parmesan, of course). I think the meatballs were meatless (which is what I would prefer). Tonight, for her and BH, she is making quiche (which I don't care for), and graciously, she is making me fried eggs (which I love, with hard yokes). I am going to try not to eat until dinner, it's not easy but I don't want to spoil my appetite.

2:59 p.m., Friday the 2nd

It was an awesome dinner, as anticipated. I think we are going to have the same thing tonight, as there's still some quiche left (so I will have more fried eggs). As for BH, he caught a bug of some kind, and I don't know whether he's still going to do his Michigan trip. There's a suitcase sitting on the bed in the guest room, so maybe he's still going. We'll see.

12:21 p.m., Saturday the 3rd

BH decided to go for it. SB took Eddie to a lunch date with a Barn Hunt friend, the calendar says she'll be gone for three hours, so it's just me, Rainee, and Ginger in the house. I think we might take Ginger for a walk after SB gets back. Dinner will probably be leftover pasta and whatnot, and hopefully we'll eat out tomorrow.

1:18 p.m., Sunday the 4th

We've had some interesting weather today, thunder and hail. I don't know whether there's any rotation. It would be unusual, it happens more often on the east side of the (Sandia) mountains. Ginger did good at Barn Hunt practice today. SB and I will eat out today at Black Angus, a really good steakhouse. Obviously I'm looking forward to it.

2:13 p.m., Monday the 5th

Well unfortunately it was expensive, but fortunately the food and the service were both really good. I think SB would eat out with me again today, if there wasn't a bunch of stuff in the fridge she needed to use up. BH is still in Michigan, he will fly back tomorrow. That's all I have to tell you for the moment.
