There were some weather issues and flight delays, but BH made it home safe and sound. He didn't feel like eating out, he just wanted takeout at Burger King. Which was fine, SB and I both got Impossible Whoppers, BH got a regular Whopper. The dogs got some of our French fries, not too many but some, I think BH saved some of his for today.

3:59 p.m., Thursday the 8th
For dinner last night, SB made turkey burgers for us, plus seasoned veggies out of the oven. Pretty decent all told. I don't know what we'll have tonight, I usually don't find out until dinner is served. Tomorrow, I have a noon doctor appointment, my insurance has changed and this will be a new doctor for me. Hopefully it will be pretty routine, just establishing primary care, and renewing my Zyprexa/Metformin prescriptions.

It was routine enough, they were pretty nice at the new place. Perhaps the only hitch was that we had to keep repeating that I don't have diabetes, with the Metformin I take there is some confusion about that. Dinner last night was pizza, the kind you take out of the freezer and put in the oven. After dinner, BH and I watched the final episode of "The Residence."

2:53 p.m., Saturday the 10th
Last night we had TV dinners, which is kind of a bummer but not the end of the world. Today I had a labs appointment, they had to stick me three times (the third time with an expert at sticking people) so that was a bit of a pain but I'm okay. SB and I then went to Yeller Sub for takeout for lunch. Tonight we are eating out with Eponine and John, after we all do an escape room. BH has come down with a bug, and he'll probably have to sit this one out.

BH is still sick, he is getting some rest at the moment which is probably a good thing. SB is working on the grout in my shower, I am using SB's/BH's shower for the time being. Last night's escape room was extra hard, I thought we did a good job, but we did not escape. After that we walked to a nearby Korean barbecue restaurant, it was very busy, but worth the wait. Early today SB went grocery shopping, later on she and I might go to the pet store.

We haven't gone to the pet store yet, but we're planning to go tonight after dinner. Dinner will be odds and ends, SB says she'll make me chili on a potato, which is actually one of my favorite dishes. Last night she made us halibut and cauliflower. Not much else to tell you, the weather is really warming up (upper 80's today). BH is still feeling sick, but he had to go to work today because the person who would cover for him has the day off.
