Ladies: your favorite bio in polygroup links?

Or instead of BMI, go ahead and write it out (Body Mass Index).

I know what BMI stands for, I just have no idea what mine is or even how it's measured. Do people generally know their BMI??? Is this standard?

If general fitness is important in a partner, it's fine to say so. Why not just say it? "I keep myself relatively fit and I appreciate others who do, as well." That, to me, sounds much more appealing and understandable than indicating a preferred BMI number.

I didn't point that out, but I found that bothersome, too. If I came across a profile looking for a specific BMI, it would tell me that the person was probably shallow and a bit arrogant. But looking for someone fit and who can keep up with certain activities seems reasonable and sensible.

And no, I don't know my BMI.

Re (from HappilyFallenAngel):
"I have no idea what my BMI is ..."

Oh, oops ... I misread that.

I don't know what my BMI is ... and don't wanna know!

Though I think there are fancy scales you can buy that read your BMI as well as your weight. (But then I don't wanna know what my weight is either.)

Lol
