Sometimes I like to go back and read the comments in the one where the guy lived on a tropical island and was going to bless the poor local girls with his babies. Or the one where the ladies were going to work and he would manage their finances to relieve their burden...I believe one of those was in the music Biz (?)

Hey Jane, the consensus is that a troll sticky wouldn't be appropriate, but we suggest you collect the urls, and make a post with them (say, in Fireplace) and then add a link to that thread in your blog! Update it. as needed.

Add your scathing response to our poly world-saving hero here too, if you want. I, for one, would like to read it!

I have to say that I agree with the consensus, but it was a fun thought! :devilish:

If I manage to find the threads I'm talking about then I will Post and Link as you suggest. I've been reading everything posted on this site since I joined in 2012 AND have gone back and read most of the Blogs and Threads with more than a few responses since the forum opened in 2009, so there is a LOT of material to sift through. Maybe a tag search for threads containing "harem" as that is what most of the Trolls I recall are really seeking (while denyng it vehemently), and we usually call them out on it at some point...hmmm:sneaky:

I'm reading this thread from start to finish in April, 2024. So far, this is the least believable thing I have read (and that's saying quite a lot).

Honestly, I’ve seen enough strange, genuine people in the world that I 100% believe this wasn’t a troll.

I can’t help feel for the guy as being publicly ridiculed can feel pretty intensely awful. Especially for something you’ve been involved in for 6 years. On the other hand, I’m relieved he never actually got more into his theories because from the looks of it, it’s likely stewed in misogynistic pseudoscience. The fact that he’s a part of the finance world doesn’t help that case. Finance bros love sex-based pseudo-science.

Hopefully, he has people in his life that engage in his theories in good faith while also challenging him on his research methods. Magdalyn’s response was really neat to read.
