My husband and I are VERY new to this. We’ve had a lot of discussion and thoughts over the years, and decided to dive into meeting our third person (girl). However, we’ve not had much luck. I was wondering if anyone had any advice about groups. I’ve heard you can use kik. We’ve tried feeld, #open, OkCupid, tinder and MeetMe, and so far, no luck. We don’t want hookups; we want someone level headed to join us, 💜 who is serious and wants to settle down, as well.
 
I seem to recall people using kik, so it works, I just don't know how. What are the chances you can go out and meet people in person? There may even be a poly group in your area, google "polyamory" with the name of your state or nearest major city. Anyway, I hope I can help.

I'd like to suggest that it's not that you're looking in the wrong places, it's that what you're looking for is extremely hard, if not impossible to find. I'd like to refer you to this thread about newly mono couples looking to open up to poly by seeking a "unicorn," a "third," a "girl to share."
