Hello users of polyamory.com,
I'm U+1FAC2 (username chosen because it's a Unicode character i like) and I am, as I believe I've heard the term, "polyaffectionate". That being a subset of polyamory or adjacent to polyamory or what have you. I am somewhat new to polyamory.

I have joined this forum to ask for knowledge regarding navigating polyamorous relationships. Recently I had poly relationship troubles that led to me learning the distinction between polyfidelity and open relationships, and if I didn't know that then there's probably other things I don't know. Am I correct in thinking the General Poly Discussions subforum is the place my requests for knowledge should go?

If it's general knowledge about polyamory, yes.

If you want specific relationship advice about your poly situation then visit Poly Relationships Corner

Here is a list of the best resources: books, articles and a podcast about the basics of polyamory.

Greetings U+1FAC2,
Welcome to our forum. Please feel free to lurk, browse, etc.

I have looked at your other thread, and responded there briefly. To summarize, you can get your learning process started by asking some questions, also by posting about your situation as it evolves. I'm glad you could join us, and hope you enjoy your stay.

Sincerely,
Kevin T., "official greeter" :)
