Hello from the Great White North

Hi, my name is Rhys. I'm a male of the species. I assume there's people here from all over. I live up in Alberta, Canada. We're fairly north.
Quite a long time ago my marriage went south. I've been searching to belong ever since. It has been suggested to me that a poly lifestyle might be the thing. I'm older, I am a little more low energy that when I was younger. I do like to chat but am actually very much an introvert. I guess we'll see if that fits. My work over my life has left me with a few physical issues with knees back and hips but I'm still mobile. I'm still working at a 9 to 5 job. I love going to Mexico or other like warm climates for vacation. I love the ocean. I think I have a bit of a darker sense of humour at times. Oh yes I'm Canadian so I spell humour different lol. I'm in to genealogy and though I need to spend much more time with it, I love photography, usually of wildlfie.

It's nice to meet you too. Just so you know (I can't tell), polyamory.com is a poly relationship advice board and conversation space, not a dating site, per se. Our Dating section is just mostly for the overflow of confused people.

But this is a great place to learn about poly and hang out with experienced poly people, as well as those who are just dipping their toes in.

It sounds like you are just getting started on your journey to poly, I hope we can answer any questions you may have. I looked up Edmonton on Wikipedia and you're right, it is a ways north. I am more to the south (New Mexico), but I did live in Washington state for a few years. Anyway it's great to have you with us!

Thanks for the welcome. I have gone through the guidelines and the Golden Nuggets. They are very helpful. Your right I’m very new to the lifestyle and will likely be taking it slow.
