Kevin's Hetero MFM Poly-Fi V

3:46 p.m., Friday the 22nd

With Brother-Husband being sick, Snowbunny called El Pinto and tried to change our Christmas Eve reservation from a three-person to a two-person. But I guess El Pinto isn't doing any more two-person reservations this late in the game. So, we'll go to Fogo de Chão -- a Brazilian place -- instead. If it's like the Brazilian places I've been to in the past, it should be pretty spectacular. (And way expensive.)

Today at about 4:45 p.m., Snowbunny and I will go shopping. The plan is that it will be a short shopping trip -- we'll see. In any case I'll be glad to get out of the house.

The new Chinese place was really good; I liked my egg foo young a lot. No comparison with Fogo de Chão, but as I said, that (the latter) will be really expensive.

Which new Chinese place did you guys try?

2:28 p.m., Saturday the 23rd

I can't remember the name of the place. Golden Chopsticks I think?

2:54 p.m., Sunday the 24th

Time for me to start getting ready, to go to Fogo de Chão, is less than half an hour away. I'm really stoked about it. I'm pretty sure BH is still sick, and will have to stay home. I feel bad about that, but mostly I am a selfish person, and am glad I'm not sick and going.

4:31 p.m., Monday the 25th

My anxiety levels are ramped up today for some unknown reason. I had a THC gummy earlier, it seems to have had somewhat of an effect, but I wish there was a way I could get more relief. (I emphatically do *not* want advice.) The restaurant was good last night, although the service at the end wasn't great. When you pay that much, you should get 100% great service the whole time. That's my opinion. No complaints about the food and drink though.

4:36 p.m., Tuesday the 26th

I feel better today, probably partly because I had two gummies. BH is doing better, not completely better but he did go to work today. We had tacos for dinner last night, they were good. There was quite a bit of meat leftover so we'll probably have tacos again soon.

3:29 p.m., Wednesday the 27th

We had fish sticks for dinner yesterday, with squash, salad, and mashed potatoes on the side. Today, a handyman has come over and is doing various projects around the house. Tomorrow, Jill will come over to clean the house.

4:18 p.m., Thursday the 28th

SB took the dogs to Barn Hunt practice yesterday. On the way home, she got us takeout from Golden Pride, she and BH had fried chicken and coleslaw, I had a couple of burritos. I like takeout!

Jill is here. Working hard. I'm super appreciative of her efforts.

4:29 p.m., Friday the 29th

Not a lot going on today. BH has been having some kind of problem with his ears, like they're infected or plugged up or both. I guess he has been at urgent care for most of the day, and as a result he may have to work tomorrow.

Also for tomorrow, we have plans to get together with Eponine and John. The five of us will do an escape room, then we'll eat out somewhere. But if BH has to work tomorrow, he may not be able to join us. That's kind of up in the air right now.

Yesterday we had tacos for dinner. It was good, but I'm more excited about tomorrow. I don't know what we'll have for dinner tonight.

3:03 p.m., Saturday the 30th

So I guess BH will work tomorrow, but he still has today off. I'm pretty sure he'll be joining us tonight.

For dinner last night, SB prepared salmon and as a side, gnocchi. I guess the gnocchi is supposed to be made from potatoes, but it didn't really float my boat. I mean it wasn't awful but.

I don't know where we'll eat out tonight. Monroe's, maybe.

4:15 p.m., Monday the 1st

Alas, we were defeated by the escape room. I guess it was one of the hardest rooms they have, so I guess it's no wonder that we were defeated. Afterwards, we ate out at Trombino's Bistro Italiano. All in all a very enjoyable evening.

Our friend Sam came over yesterday. SB made a new recipe of halibut, it was really good. Tonight I guess we're going to have bean soup. I hope the beans aren't too crunchy.

SB and I went shopping yesterday. I always enjoy that. SB let me pick out a bottle of Fireball. It's in the freezer now, I'll just look for an opportunity to drink some of it.

4:22 p.m., Wednesday the 3rd

The beans were not crunchy, thank gods. Apparently the secret is to heat them in the slow cooker for 14 to 17 hours. That was dinner on Monday. Yesterday we had hot dogs and sweet potato fries. Not overly exciting, but reasonable. Tonight, at 5:00 p.m., SB has a massage appointment. I asked her if she was going to get takeout on her way back. She said no. Wah! I don't know what we'll have for dinner tonight.

4:16 p.m., Thursday the 4th

We had leftover bean soup, nothing too exciting or memorable. No idea what we'll have tonight. Not takeout, I'm sure.

7:11 p.m., Friday the 5th

We had pasta with sauce, cheese, and meatballs (probably turkey meatballs). I wasn't like, "OMG this is so awesome," but it was reasonable. SB was saying that we'd have some kind of eggs tonight, plus guacamole.

Today's been a pretty good day for me. Relatively speaking. The forum's been quite busy so I'm late posting on this thread, but I am posting here at least.

6:36 p.m., Saturday the 6th

Last night, SB had an errand to run, and while she was out, she got us takeout from a Mexican place (Los Cuates). Needless to say, I was super happy. She got me (and BH too I think) huevos rancheros. One of my favorites.

Tonight she is making quiche. Not my favorite, so she made four eggs for me, over hard, and that is one of my favorites.

I had a $50.00 bill for Christmas from my mom, it was burning a hole in my pocket, so earlier today, I walked to Kelly's and bought a bottle of Rumple Minze. Difficult to say when I might get an opportunity to drink it.

1:00 p.m., Sunday the 7th

The eggs were really good last night. I don't know what we'll have tonight. We watched a couple of shows last night after dinner, "The Bad Guys," and another episode of "Six Feet Under."

I thought I had a good opportunity to have some of the Rumple Minze today, SB "caught me" and wasn't okay with that. Sometimes that happens, I am okay with that.

Regards,
Kevin T.

4:10 p.m., Monday the 8th

I think for dinner last night we had salads. SB put boiled eggs in my salad, which I very much appreciate. Not much to tell you today. Today has been harder for me than the usual day. That happens sometimes, I have no reason to complain but I complain anyway.

2:57 p.m., Wednesday the 10th

For dinner on Monday, we had leftover soup (it was actually pretty good). BH and SB also had leftover quiche, and I also had some mac and cheese (a TV dinner). Last night, we had takeout from Grassburger, SB ordered it online, BH picked it up on his way home from work. I got a green chili jack hamburger (and fries), it was really good although I know I should eat more vegetarian. Don't know what we'll have tonight, but today has been a relatively easy one (for me at least).

4:09 p.m., Thursday the 11th

SB made salmon for us, as well as broccoli and mac (shells) and cheese. I don't know what dinner tonight will be. Jill is here right now, cleaning the house. Not much to tell you today, Rainee is sleeping on my bed.

3:42 p.m., Friday the 12th

Ginger had a (obedience? CGC?) class yesterday. On the way back from that, SB got us takeout -- gyros, salads, and baklava -- from a Greek place. It was really good. Tonight, I guess the plan is for SB to make a turkey curry dish. Doesn't sound too bad. In a little over an hour, she and I will go on a shopping trip -- an involved shopping trip, to more than one store as she needs some pet supplies. Should make a nice break from the routine.
