Hello everyone! I go by Vivian online and am a 27 year old happily married woman living in North Carolina, USA. Only married a year but dated 5 prior. Recently we've started discussing the idea of opening things up to polyamory. Its very new for both of us but we're are very curious. I'm pansexual and he's bisexual so there's not really any reservations on gender, with our biggest focus being finding someone we both mesh well with. We're quiet nerdy with interests in video games and anime and writing RP and playing DnD, and are really hoping to find someone that we can enjoy as a friend as much as a partner just as we do with one another. Making an account here and reading the board is just one step we're taking to exploring this world and seeing how this goes!

Greetings Vivian,
Welcome to our forum. Please feel free to lurk, browse, etc.

You are at the beginning of an exciting new journey, the journey of polyamory. You want to find someone that you and your husband both like, that sounds good and if you want, each of you can get a different partner as well. Have a look around on our various threads and boards, and don't hesitate to ask any questions, there is so much to learn about polyamory, and we're here to help.

Sincerely,
Kevin T., "official greeter" :)

Notes:

There's a *lot* of good info in Golden Nuggets. Have a look!

Please read through the guidelines if you haven't already.

Note: You needn't read every reply to your posts, especially if someone posts in a disagreeable way. Given the size and scope of the site it's hard not to run into the occasional disagreeable person. Please contact the mods if you do (or if you see any spam), and you can block the person if you want.

If you have any questions about the board itself, please private-message a mod and they'll do their best to help.

Welcome aboard!

I hear that you want what is called a triad. So many couples new to polyamory think that is the way to go, to find a partner who likes/loves/desires both of you equally, and who each of you likes/loves/desires equally. Often this does not go as well as you might imagine. You might want to look at our resources here, before you start looking for your unicorn:
