Trying to learn more about poly relationships

Hello. I (23m) am married (22f) and we are considering a poly relationship and are currently just trying to gather as much info as we can. We have been married for two years and been together for about eight years. I brought it up because it has been something that I have been interested in for a long time. We have been doing research and having daily conversations about poly relationships and just how it makes us both feel in general for a little bit. We live in a small conservative town (unfortunately) in eastern Washington (more like dead center of Washington) so it is fairly difficult to find anyone in a non-monogamy relationship hence why I'm here.

Welcome to our board!

We have an incredible amount of great information here. You can start by clicking on "What's New?" to see current threads. You can search specific terms. Best of all is our Golden Nuggets section, which has lists of articles, books, movies, a podcast, and links to archived consolidated threads here on just about every poly-related topic you could ever imagine.

We've been around since 2009. Technology has changed, but people and their feelings and ways of relating haven't.

Thank you for the info

In case you haven't come across this in your research yet, here's a pros and cons video with some really good food for thought.

And since you live somewhere so conservative but are still young, are you considering moving at all?

Gen Z are often doing polyamory different to older generations, although I suspect it's more of a life steps thing - I also approached polyamory differently at 22 than at 34 than at 46.

All the best with your research, it's awesome to see people starting with learning rather than diving straight in!

As soon as I'm done with my electrical apprenticeship we plan to move closer to the west side of Washington since it fits both of our life styles. Thank you for the video.
