Oh fuck… (where did the time go?)

It’s September.

This time acceleration with aging is really getting out of hand.

Anyone else still adjusting to the years starting with “20”? 😂😭

I've been wishing this year away from the get go, originally because I expected to see Puck next January, but now because I can finish this job in December.

May your weeks whiz by as fast as mine seem to!

Seriously. Babies born in 2000 are fully adults now? WTAF?

Yup. Blink of an eye those 2000 babies grew up.

One of my grandnieces got married this year. Granted the eldest in that crop but yikes.

Oh my, yes! I have been noticing this more and more (as I get older and older >grin<). I always meant to retire early, and I will - but now part of the draw is to see if I can slow down time just a bit! I also think that, aside from my own aging, the acceleration of information accessibility fuels a lot of this for me. Access to all the information, all of the answers, all of the time and wanting to know everything is a real challenge to a (science) information junkie - compared to when I was a kid and actually had to physically go to the library to look things up!

Oh, interesting.

It does seem like we should now be able to cram a lot more knowing stuff into our allotted term. But then … the internet is full of rabbit holes and wormholes and (holy fuck, again) there went the morning/day/night.
