It was a lot of pages, so I only read your posts.
It is interesting that we share this core feature: my wife talked me into a mistress. Relentless pressure, and years in the making.
I thought in the beginning it was a trap. Just like you. But unlike you, my wife reacted with rage at the first web chat girl she got me to talk to. Our relationship was over! And then after the first stripper, same thing. A roller coaster.

It's old school. It takes two households. If I worked at Wal Mart as a greeter I would not be running this show. So long as I am working and making good business decisions, I can have both.

Sometimes it's good literature. But it does get annoying when you try to compose good advice for someone who turns out to be fooling you. I only remember those which became obvious: Majormerric (that's the ex-mormon sect) and JackieJay (lesbian incest).
I don't remember if the farmer story turned out to be made up. Sometimes one can't be sure. I'm still not entirely sure about MrMark either (but it's likely).

Well, that is their intent.
There is an article in Psychology Today, and other related articles about the Dark Triad personality types - Narcissists, Machiavelians, and Sadists - that troll fora.
People with a conscience give the benefit of the doubt initially, so all one has to do is lie. Lying is considered "smart" by this personality type. Only dumb people are forthcoming, above-board, and stoop to good-faith dealing.
By skimming, I missed some obvious goading. Well, on to tea and crumpets with the high society types I rub shoulders with...

The vast majority of the personality and character disordered lead normal lives, nothing for society to be "scared" of. Even psychopaths - they make outstanding surgeons and lead exemplary lives with foundations left behind to fund decades of cancer research or whatever.
So I guess the return is "you don't have to be a serial killer to be a psychopath". There have been a very small number of serial killers over my entire lifetime out of tens of millions of psychopaths.
"Stupid", as in low IQ - no. Low maturity level, yes.
