Hi, LavenderLilacMauve here. I love purple (in case that wasn't obvious by the name :LOL:)
I'm 48, mono, non-binary and in a relationship with a poly guy, 45. He's been poly for a long time and he and I have been together in a LDR for three years (working on moving me closer soon)
We're doing "the work" all the time. Trying to navigate both LDR and mono/poly. Neither of which help the other situation. So I'm here to find information and maybe support when needed.

I'm in LDRs too, they are soon hard. But when you find your people, you don't want little things like the Pacific Ocean to stand in the way of love lol.

I like purple too, I guess yellow is my favorite color but that's because it was featured in a story I fell in love with as a kid. Wow, you're tackling mono/poly and LDR at the same time, that is ambitious! I hope we can be of help, let us know what info and support would be helpful.

Yeah, I guess I'm a glutton for punishment tackling mono/poly and LDR. But kinda fell into it. We started as friends, grew into a more supportive and nurturing thing and now we're sharing a wonderful, loving relationship.
 
It sounds like what you have is hard, but worth it. Hang in there and I hope we can help!

Welcome. Besides reading current threads whose titles you find interesting, you can do a search of any terms, such as long distance relationship, or mono/poly. Also, please check out our list of resources (articles, books, websites, a podcast) here:
